At the yearly DMY International Design Festival Berlin both renowned and
young, experimental designers launch new products, prototypes and
foresighted projects.
This is very small sample of what you could see on DMY.
Italian-born designer Salvatore Franzese presented his works his 'procreation' lamp, 'conceived' chair and table lamp.
Israel-based studio kulla design presented new table lamps called '50% sawdust'. They use heat to transform wooden sawdust and plastic bags into a new composite.
The 'm. bench' is an ottoman created by grupo bondi, an argentinian design studio. Made out of cement, this seat uses a patented technology to produce what appears to be a plush ottoman.
Dutch designer Jeannine Van Erk of bel+bo presented 'cocon malade' and 'boule malade. These lampshade styles are created by hand from custom-dyed medical bandages.

These are absolutely beautiful oil paints have been created by Mexico-born artist Ana Teresa Fernandez. She is Art Professor at the UC Berkeley. Her work investigates how women identify their strengths and sensuality

Gaetan Henrioux
Gaetan Henrioux is a french artist who lives and works in Paris. I really like a surreal atmosphere in his paintings and the strokes, the way he introduces unexpected colours in the highlights and shadows. Amazing! You can see more of his art work here.

Dry The River's poster campaign
Good music is not generally sufficient in order to reach the masses. The band Dry The River recently launched a poster campaign in London with 3D horses that jump out from the posters. Responsible for this is the multiple award-winning agency Foam, and all implementation was done by talented Xavier Barrade. Making each poster takes about 35 hours. Love the idea!
