Edible Pen

"I (Dave Hakkens) first wanted to make something so I could chew on my pen without making it dirty. When looking at the pen I noticed that you only use the ink, the other stuff is just there to hold filling more comfortable. Isn’t it possible to eat the whole cover? That was my goal, a pen where you can chew on and entirely eat."

1001 Dreams

Yasmina Alaoui and Marco Guerra mix old and new techniques together. They create mysteriously beautiful life-size body portraits. In the series Guerra first photographs their nude subjects in black and white. Next, Alaoui draws by hand the complex Henna-like patterns. And finally, it's all carefully layered together.
