Globes by Carol Prusa

Today the fabulous illustrated globes of American visual artist Carol Prusa, currently Professor of Painting, Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton. She illustrated with detailed graphite drawings scribed onto acrylic spheres. This drawing medium is called silverpoint. Historically, silverpoint has been the medium of choice for scientific drawings, such as botanical studies.
