Azumi & David and their really great ideas

Azumi & David are always working toward new and ever more weird and wonderful fashion designs that boggle the mind and defy conventional rules of style. Some of there most fun and engaging work revolves around convertible clothing that serves multiple purposes and easily transforms to serve its various functions.

This hat-to-handbag design concept is not subtle about its nature, looking like a handbag on your head when worn as a hat and looking a lot like a hat when held as a handbag.

Incredible shadow art by Kumi Yamashita. Amazing shadow work created with simple objects and lighting. These images are done with wood, light and cast shadow and in my view they are really stunning.
You should watch the video below to fully appreciate Kumi’s work.

Janice likes to explore different applications of her medium, whether it’s illustrating books or designing textile. In 2009, she has won her third Governor General’s Award of Canada for her illustrations of the graphic novel HARVEY (Éditions de la Pastèque). Through her soft colors, a fine and intricate line work can be seen. Her evocative, poetic and sophisticated style is a mix of retro and modern.

I'm really enthralled by Linn Olofsdotter work

There is something very spellbinding about the images you create. Fantastic colours and technique. Really incredible art works. Reminds me of an elegant surreal Roger Dean.
Growing up in Sweden, Linn was exposed to art and design from an early age, but it wasn’t until she was in her early twenties that she decided to become an artist. After a few years of flirting with both motion graphics and advertising she realized it was illustration she had passion for and left everything else to pursue that as a career.

Everyday Objects can be artworks

If you find unexpected shapes and colors from the toilet rolls, they become something else.
Pizza Boxes, a McDonald's bag, Flags and Toilet Paper rolls which are taken from daily life... become artworks. You can take out the idea of toilet paper roll to your house.
Yuken Teruya (born 1973 in Okinawa) is an artist based in Brooklyn. He works in a variety of media and often references consumer culture alongside traditional craft techniques. An example of his art is the series of McDonalds and high-end designer store bags into which Teruya cuts intricate tree shapes that are then pushed through into the interior of the bag, creating an enclosed environment within.
